Dear All,

Just to share with you about my treatment.

I am stage 3 triple positive breast cancer. When diagnosed, I had two tumors, 10cm in my right breast and 2.3cm under my armpit, eg, one lymph node spread. I have gone through EC 4times and Taxol + Trastuzumab+ pertuzumab 4 times. After 8 chemotherapy, the tumor under my armpit is gone and the one in the breast is 3-4cm now. I wish to continue my treatment with immunotherapy with dendritic cells so that there is a hope to conserve my breast.

since this immunotherapy with dendritic cells is provided by a company in Spain/Germany  and I need to pay for this by myself, I am not sure it is effective. I wonder anyone have known people with this treatment?

many thanks!

  •  Hi . I just dropped by and noticed you've not had a reply yet. It might be that no-one here has an answer for you I can't help as I have a different cancer but replying will "Bump" your post up to the top of the chats.

It might be a good idea to Ask a Nurse on our Ask an Expert forum (just click on the link) You'll have to allow a couple of days for an answer though as they're extremely busy and it's Easter.

When you have a minute, it would be great if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

It’s always good to talk and the Macmillan Support Services provides lots of information, support, financial guidance or just a listening ear.

Most services are open 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week and it's free to call on 0808 808 00 00 have a look by Clicking here to see what is available and we also have our Ask an Expert section, but do allow two working days for replies from our expert team.

    Sending you welcoming hugs Bx

    Morning. Just saw your message.

is it with immucura that you’re doing dendritic cell therapy with?

can I ask if you’ve started and if so what is your opinion of them as we are also looking at them.

hope it’s going well for you.

    thanks
