I was diagnosed with stage 2 BC a few weeks ago , having surgery in 8 weeks followed by radiotherapy for 5 days . There are so many inspiring women here so I am grateful to be part of this wonderful community . I have a healthy veg diet but would be really interested in advice on that front . Its all overwhelming with the information given but trying to absorb slowly . Best wishes to everyone n keep safe x

    Hi Lily2021

I was diagnosed with TNBC in December. What type of bc and what size lump do you have? Have you not been offered any chemotherapy ?

  • Hi TNBC ,its 7mm and invasive ductal but have to wait for further results . At this point it is lumpectomy and radiotherapy.  Maybe when surgery takes place n lymph nides investigated, things might change ?  What was your size and what treatment have you had ? Thank you

Mine is 6cm triple negative and having chemo first because my lymph nodes is not involved but size is big. Did you have core needle biopsy because stage 2 means lymph node involvement. Did you have any MRI because that gives accurate size measurement and tells about;ymphnode involvement as well.

  • Hi TNBC50

Thank you for your reply.  I was bombarded with so much ,I am overwhelmed , I've read my notes now and this is result so far , biopsy is stage 2 , grade 1 seems like but will know after sentinel node biopsy ,hence radiotherapy.

Its just the wait of 8 weeks , but I understand as they said so many have been diagnosed thro routine screening n backlog due to covid . Trying to keep busy.

No MRI or other scans suggested. Best wishes
