Hello,
I’m HER 2 positive. I was one of the people that didn’t go to the doctor for several months as found lump at beginning of lockdown 1. Ive now finished my chemo and had left mastectomy with lymph removal 8 days ago. I’m sore but managing with paracetamol. Awaiting the pathology of what they took out to find out how much radiotherapy I need and if I need any other medications. I have herceptin injection today.
Thanks
Mel
Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community
I had a different type of cancer but I know how challenging it is waiting for results to find out what the next treatment will be. Replying to you will 'bump' your post back to the top of the discussion list where hopefully it'll be seen by someone in this group who can share their experiences with you.
While you're waiting for replies it would be great if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
Do come back and let us know what your next steps are going to be
