Hi everyone.
My daughter is 31 and has just been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. She received her first cycle of chemo last Friday.
She is a single mum of 3 ASD children. So I have left my poor hubby home alone fending for himself, whilst I am staying with my daughter to look after her and her children and working from her house.
She is currently at the hospital as her temperature has not dropped bellow 37.5 in the last 24hrs so running some checks to ensure her white cell count isn't dropping.
I can't believe she is going through this at her age.
Hi, I’m sorry that you find yourself here! I’m 33 and was diagnosed in December (Christmas Eve infact).
what an amazing thing to do, your daughter is lucky to have you to stay and help!
I had a similar thing happen on Sunday, my temperature was at 37.7 all day, even went up to 37.9 while I was at the hospital waiting for my blood results to come back. My counts were fine and no infection found but they sent me away with antibiotics just incase! It’s best to be safe!
sending lots of love, If you have any questions feel free to ask!

She is hooked up on IV antibiotics at the moment. The first cycle has hit her quite badly. She only had it a week ago and has ended up at the hospital 3 times so far. Bless her
Bless her heart! It can be a big shock to your body, my first round was definitely the toughest! I hope it gets easier for her!
