Hi everyone, I had a 23mm, grade 3 lump removed from my breast nearly 4 weeks ago! I now have been offered chemo, radium and tablets! With the virus at large and the effects of chemo to your body, I’m worried to accept the chemo! Has anyone been in the this position? All the cancer has been removed, there was no cancer in the lymph nodes, it is as a precaution for future! I am 60 years old, but in my head I’m still in my 20s! X

Hi Hilli welcome to the forum and sorry to hear how things are for you with big choices to be made and no easy answers to them.

I cant offer much by way of help as I didn't have chemo, but I'm inserting a link to the chemo thread on here and you might like to post your query in there as I feel sure someone will be able to share their experiences of those who have had chemo. You need only click this and it will take you straight there.

    Chemo thread.

    Best wishes for now. xxxx

Which is what oncologists use.  I'm guessing it's ER+ if you are having tablets? It doesn't include LVI (lympho vascular invasion) though,  and chemo would possibly br a good idea if it was present.  X
