Hi, just came out of surgery yesterday for mastectomy and reconstruction and senital lymph node biopsy, my 2 tumours were grade 1 to 2 and I am worried about results and if spread or not
I hope your results get to you quickly, as all news especially bad, is never as bad as "the worst" you can imagine. So in a way it's going to be good news I hope xxx Take care of yourself and hang in there!
Hi had result back yesterday, very relieved that cancer has not spread to lymph nodes, after being worried for 3 weeks, however dr says I will need radiotherapy in a month or so as tumours were very close to the surface skin, I did have a reconstruction and nipple sparing so could this be why I beed it? also I heard radiotherapy can harden and misshape implant? anyone had this experience? I also have to take hormone inhibitors
That is good news in a way! I think the Radiotherapy thread would probably be more helpful than aanything I can say, I haven't started mine, in fact I think my surgery will be postponed. Hey ho :)
