Any men on here with BC

I know that we are few and far between (only 300 diagnosed a year) .

I am hoping to raise awareness of BC in men. I am writing a Blog to start with http://dougeharper.wordpress.com/

Of course it is not all about the men. Women have a much tougher time with their Masectomies and it is nice to support each other

  • barbaral - I'm sorry, I don't understand your posting. A man with breast cancer has appealed on a specialist cancer site to contact other men with the same diagnosis... so what is wrong?

Also, see the www.butdoctorihatepink.com, which is a blog from a breast cancer lady in the us. Her entry for 7 April 2012 has a guest story of a male BC patient, which you may also find helpful to read.
  • Hi again all. Just another bump to see if there are any other men on here ?

  • Hi Doug,  I hope that you are doing well.  There were two men last  year, though I'm afraid I can't remember their online names.

  • Yes I remember two men posting too !  Trouble is search function awful but I think one was called Mark !

  • A few men have posted in these past couple of years, I’ll try to dredge up names from my hopeless memory - I blame Anastrozole! Good that you’re still posting , it’s hope for us al when people stick around so long!! And definitely good to keep a male presence as there are so few of you.  springs to mind, but I can’t seem to call up their profile to check - thibk I’ll have to post this then go back to check.... anyway welcome back ! • Thanks all

A lot has changed since I was last on here . I am involved in the first Male Breast Cancer Visual Meet Up in Europe . Men who have had/have breast cancer get together on zoom once a month to chat . So far we have about 23 chaps involved and I just wondered if there were any more on here that may have missed the info about .

It can be very emotional meet other men who have had/had . Up until a few months ago I had only met two other men with the same

Keep on keeping on brothers and sisters xx
