Morning. I had a bit of a breakthrough today from, what was to me, an area of support I hadn't considered.
I needed to speak to the GPS Pharmacist about a drug review I didn't think I need ed. She agreed and resolved that issue. As I was on a roll I decided to ask about pain relief. The joint pain caused by anastrozol is killing me. She was very helpful and explained the issues on taking various painkillers. Her suggestion was to go back on the progabalin I had been taking previously with nerve pain. I had weaned myself off, because I thought it was just for nerve pain. relief. She said it would particularly helpful with sleeping.
I'm seeing the G P to ask about pain relief today and I think I can go in now and put forward a reasonable suggestion I know will help. I've been off progabalin for about a month and it is in that month the pain combined with lack of sleep has really got to me.
Basically talking to the pharmacist was very useful and a good place to go for help. Not the pharmacist at your local Boots but the one linked to GP, because they have all your notes.
Have a good day.
Good thinking, hope you get the help you need now, Silverberg
