I've been to see her another surgeon today. That makes it 7 I think in total. This time it was to see if the mess under my armpits can be improved. I have a dog ear under one arm and a floppy bit of skin that hangs over the armhole of my swim suits.
I still don't know why it has been left like this. To be honest I don't think today's surgeon knew why either. She has reassured me that she can tidy me up. For those that don't know I go flat so I didn't ask for anything complicated. A tidy, smooth scar was my request.
I can't have it done until January. I've still another immunotherapy to go and she wants to make sure I'm Ok after that.
Has anyone else had to go back for a tidy up? How long is recovery?
Don’t know the answer to your question Silverberg but am really glad to hear they can and will deal with it. It’s awful you got left with this. I do wonder whether sometimes they don’t listen because they have a view that people might regret going flat and will want some skin to drag round an implant.
