Rubbish day

Oh bless you, Emm12 you’re allowed to have days like that! It’s a shock, a disappointment, a nasty thing to happen and in a way, a bereavement of the life you thought you had. 

However, your team will have a specific plan for you, based on what they’ve found, tailored for you specifically. It may be tough but it’s there to help you start a life without cancer.

Thank you it is all of the above you put and I know its one of the down days today and tomorrow is a new day. 

My team have been amazing so far and like you said they will have the best treatments in place. My follow up is October 12th, which initially is radiotherapy and medication after that. Just praying for no changes. 

I am keeping on with the exercises and managed a walk out yesterday and hopefully again today weather permitting. Thanks for reaching out xx

My letter also said Er4 weakly positive pr0 negative hers2 negative what is the 4 and weakly positive mean? 

That’s oestrogen responsive and progesterone negative, HER2negativr too, which means not necessarily chemo but you might possibly need oestrogen reducing meds. Let’s see what they say in your next appointment. radiotherapy is fine but you’ll need that good shoulder movement for it.

I am sorry you are having a rubbish day. I think it all catches up a bit with you once you have had surgery. Nothing in your diagnosis letter is new news to the team who are looking after you and they will have done the best job they can to get you clear margins. If your lymph nodes didn’t show anything on ultrasound then there’s good hope they will be clear. It’s horrible waiting for results but they will have the right plan for you when you see them.
