Hi there, I finished my radiotherapy in may, I had the 15 sessions. But my point is that I had aches to the whole breast and firmness the right side , very tender. But I called my BC nurse and went over the symptoms to put my mind at rest. She was great. She said this might go away and it might come back again later in year. She said to start wareing my post surgery bra again and sleep in it for more support. KEEP doing my massage . This really helps with the cream. But please call your BC nurse. Don't worry but it needs documenting. Good luck
The breast affected by radiotherapy can go hard and shrink. It’s one of the gifts from radiotherapy. The other possibility is lymphoedema. The tight bra and lymphoedema massage will help and not do any harm. YouTube have the massage technique if you Google it. Tuesday contact BC nurse. These things always happen at weekends and Bank Holidays.
Three times! What did I do?
