New diagnosis 4th time

Hello,

Long story. ER+ breast cancer 2008 followed by mastectomy, chemo, radiotherapy and reconstruction. Ureter cancer 2016 resulted in kidney and ureter removal. Small bladder tumours 2017 treated with mitomycin.

Went for 10 year follow up lung scan where they discovered an anomaly. Biopsy confirmed TCC near my right clavicle. I can't believe it. Im so well. I have no symptoms whatsoever, so I'm grateful that the scan showed up this new cancer.

My daughters were children the first time, teenagers 2nd and 3rd time, now they're adults and so much more aware.

Im not scared, just a bit gobsmacked that it's happened again! My original oncologist is still working, so I may get to see him again. He's such a lovely man.

OMG I thought I had it bad having been diagnosed with BC three times. My heart truly goes out to you. We are so lucky that we are kept under surveillance. It's two in the morning and I can't think ' of the correct terminology.

Your children will be of great support this time round so make sure you use that support. I remember my daughter saying " We are adults. We can help you with this ". I didn't realize till after that my son changed shifts for first few chemo so he could give OH back up if he needed it. Or that communication between my son and daughter was increased so they gave each other support and helped my sister look after my 94 year old Mum so I didn't feel guilty.

I won't say you will be fine, or you've beaten it before so you can beat it again I hate those type of expressions. You know what you have to do and it is very hard but it can be done and you know that.
