On the 20th June I found a lump, the last one was back in 2020, stage 2 breast cancer. Lumpectomy and radiotherapy. The new lump is on the same side. Double biopsy on the lump done on my birthday on the 29th June. Appointment with breast surgeon on 4th August. I'm dreading it. The lady that did the double biopsy, when I asked for her thought, she said I can't put your mind at ease with a very sad look on her face. I was distraught.
Why oh why does everything have to take so long. Apparently the surgeons and consultants are all on holiday this week so I can't get any answers. All I need to know, I dont care about the severity or the pleasure of good news, is if it's come back. I dont think I have ever been this scared
