Hi anyone else suffered with this im day 11 post surgery, lumpectomy with reconstruction and sentinel node biopsy, had a really tight breast with reddening becoming worse and pain getting worse rang my BCN and was advised to go straight to clinic where they sent me straight for a scan and immediately drained the area which was filled with blood

Yes, I did but it settled quite quickly after that. Hope yours does too.

Hi Valhala , I had a post lumpectomy haematoma too. The breast nurses kept an eye on it and it slowly resolved itself. Thankfully no draining needed but the re absorption was slow. My breast was quite the rainbow with the blue dye and bruising! Hope yours is now sorted xxx

Hi I felt a release of pressure as soon as the started draining it, although not a nice procedure to go through 11 days post op. Onwards and upwards now hopefully
