Hi everyone i finished chemotherapy in November and cold capped so was very lucky not to loose all my hair, just around 30% ish? Has anyone else been successful and when did you start to use hair st
ighteners etc please as I want to try it but dint know weather its too early and dont want hair to fall out .
I had a complete fail with cold capping so ended up completely bald. I found my hair was initially quite an odd texture, it took a little while to return to normal. I think I would be careful with how you treat it until you are sure the regrowth is solid. Perhaps try the straighteners on a very small section, with lots of protective spray and the lowest heat / time of contact?
