Hi all, I recently posted about my struggles in getting Accird brand. The supply problem continues.
My question is for those who are prescribed Femara brand. Please can you let me know if it causes joint stiffness or not.
In desperation Im about to request a private prescription for it and can’t afford to waste the money if it’s just as bad as generic brands.
Thank you.
Hi Mibby, I have just been to collect my Accord prescription from Tesco. I have three month prescriptions. Thet had two boxes which I took and they said although they couldn't guarantee obtaining Accord they would try. 48 hours later they contacted me to say it was in. I am in Warwickickshire. Interestingly I was in Swanage on holiday last year and asked at Boots what brand they had in. It was Femara! I didn't take it as I have have no side effects of note from Accord (fingers crossed) and I didn't want to make the change for changes sake. Which part of the country are you in? I think the shortages are sometimes regional. xx
