I had a double mastectomy with FLAP reconstruction in August 2024, and I am currently on Letrozole 2.5 mg.
I have an appointment in October to discuss tattooing the reconstructed nipple; however, I would like to do hair laser removal before doing that, as the flap was taken from an area in my body where I had long body hairs. The surgeon says it is Ok to do, however, I would like to do it in a place where there may be expertise in doing this type of laser hair removal on scarred skin and post-surgery (and the surgeon is ot able to provide advice on that).
Has anybody else got this type of issue? if so, did you have IPL to remove hair, and would you be able to advise on where to go?
