Atypical Vascular Lesions

I am one of the community champions here and whilst I don’t have the experience you are looking for, I hope that answering it will boost it back up the forum and that someone with experience will see it and answer it.

Ive only just seen this post. There is so little information put there about this.

Im 13 years post breast cancer treatment and radiotherapy.

Last year I  noticed some changes in the nipple and areola area. Initially told it was eczema( i knew it wasnt) . After biospy confirmed it was AVLs a section of the areola was removed. 

This year I spotted mor changes ( some remained from previously) biopsies confirmed. Im now 3 weeks post removal of whole nipple and areola complex.

Im seeing the consultant tomorrow but have had a phone call to say that the sample showed AVLs up to the edges.

It really would be great to hear from you or anyone else that has been through this as it is hard to navigate with so little information.

Also it has consistently been me that spotted these changes, sometimes doctors couldnt even see them as they appear at different times of day more strongly and mine.have not appeared as nodules at all. This makes it even harder ro navigate and really important to discuss and get out there in order ro support each other.
