Skin sensitivity

Yes I am allergic to elastaplast and have it my records. I had a PICC line fitted during chemo and the nurses tried 3 different types of dressings as the initial ones caused blisters. Make sure you tell your BC nurse and anyone else who has to apply a dressing. They can use different ones. I was terrified about the dressings for my surgery, but they were absolutely fine. Good luck and try not to worry. 

I too reacted to the dressing on my biopsy site. Told my surgeon who used a different dressing after my operation which didn't cause a problem. They are used to this. 

Thank you that’s reassuring. It is in my notes and I always mention it but what’s been used so far has caused a reaction. I’ve a call next week so will let the Dr know
