I'm sorry you're going through this. It must be really difficult dealing with the effects of treatment as well as the changes to your weight.

Weight gain during chemotherapy isn't uncommon, and whether Mounjaro can be restarted before radiotherapy really depends on your individual circumstances, including how you're recovering and what your oncology team recommends. It's definitely something to discuss with your oncologist or specialist nurse before restarting it.

I asked my Oncologist about Mounjaro, as like you I recently lost weight using it. The advice I received was although it hasn't been around for the 10 year period they like to have for evidence, there was evidence to show it could have a positive impact and be beneficial. He advised to consider it after chemo, as both affect the tummy/bowels. I haven't started chemo yet, but will definitely consider it afterwards. Hope that helps x
