Hello
Before Christmas I found a lump and had bloody discharge from my right breast . All scans looked ok, I had continued to have discharge so on my follow up 2 weeks ago the hospital said they wanted to take out all the ducts.
I had that done on Friday last week but still feel awful, the pain isn’t too bad now but I’m so worried about the results which are due this week.
has anyone else had this done ? I was hoping I’d feel better by now but I just want to sleep which in itself is worrying me -
Thanks - M
Hi Mcc.
I had a different op but wanted to pop in to send a gentle virtual hug. Feeling very tired for a good while after surgery is common - the anaesthetic takes time to be cleared from your system and everyone reacts differently. So one person may ‘bounce back’ quickly whilst another takes longer. Also, do not underestimate the exhaustion of waiting for results. It’s a horrible limbo stage and the mind can go into overdrive, imagining all the worst case scenarios. Hopefully you will feel better in at least some measure once you actually know what you’re dealing with.
Semding love and hugs, HFxx
Hello thank you for your message, I did think I’d bounce back. I have my mum staying to help with the boys but I struggle not doing much but actually don’t feel able to !
Thanks Mags
