Due to having breast cancer in both breasts I’ve had my lymph nodes removed and cannot have vaccinations in my arms. Only a nurse or qualified medic can administer in the thigh and I have been unable to locate someone able to do it. All available vaccination sites are at pharmacies who can’t do it. My GP surgery doesn’t have vaccination supplies and can’t advise where to go despite my breast care nurse writing to them for help. Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution please?
I've got the issue with not being able to have the covid jab in my arm. However I have managed to find a pharmacy who can do the injection in my bum. Having it in my bum caused chaos during the pendemic.
Can you pick up a vaccine and take it to GP surgery. Have to say they are not being very helpful. You can't be the only one in the area. I'm not on Facebook might a plea on that might work.
Have you got a local Macmillan group they might be able to help.
Good luck
Three times! What did I do?
Thank you for your reply. Hadn’t thought of seeing if I can collect a vac from pharmacy and take to GP. I’ll check to see if parties involved will do this. Definitely worth a try, thanks!
