Hi, My partner is on long term paxlitaxel as well as a cocktail of painkillers including pregabalin.
She is really suffering with swollen ankles, causing cracks and hardening in the skin. Creams seem to make little difference.
We will mention it again to the chemo team but have others experienced this and found any relief?
Thanks, John

taxol dries us out, i bought some pure jojoba oil for my skin, you could tryto use as it is said to be closest to sebum our own oils, but definitely ask the team and try to get feet above heart level when resting

Thanks for your suggestions. Feet up doesn't seem to help but we will try the jojoba oil.
Thank you. The chemo unit and great nurses seem to see it as one of those things and not too serious. It is very uncomfortable though having such tight ankles.
