I finished my chemo in September and had a lumpectomy and lymph node clearance in October. I have now nearly finished radiotherapy and will be having targeted therapy for around 9 months.

My hair has started to grow back well, but totally the wrong colour. I wonder when I can start dying it if anyone can help?

Hello!

Mine grew back completely grey! I was going grey anyway but at 43years old I’m not ready to embrace that yet!!
I waited maybe about 3/4 months before I dyed it but used ‘It’s Pure Organic Henna’ instead of box dye as no other chemicals. Had to use it about 4 times before it gave me the colour I wanted but I’m happier! I never had a sore or tender scalp so I wasn’t too worried about damage.
What colour did yours grow back with??

Hi!!

Mine has come back a dark grey, but I did have long dark brown hair, so this is a real difference and like you, am not ready to embrace it yet!! Xx
