Hi everybody,
Yesterday I had to phone Breast Services (breast nurses only work Mon - Fri) and ended up speaking to the Breast Ward Sister about my weeping multiple biopsy sites plus severe bruising.
She told me to go to see her and took photos and redressed my wounds. She also gave me an extra appointment tomorrow morning (Mon 12.1.26) to have dressings and bruising checked.
Then I have appointment on Friday 16.1.26 to see my Consultant to plan my treatment.
Does anybody feel absolutely shattered, very lethargic and really tired during their cancer investigations etc?
I have actually been sleeping well through the nights but today I had to retreat to bed this afternoon and slept for over 3 hours and had to come to bed early again tonight.
My problem is that before my GP started prodding me then I had all the ultrasounds, mammograms, biopsies I was actually fine, fit (for me in my 70s) and could do most things / house jobs etc no problem at all - but this last week I have been really struggling!
