Hi ive recently finished 5 months of chemo and then had surgery. Now they are adviseing thatI have CDK 46 for the next 3 years, which im worried about as the thought of losing my hair and brows/lashes again really upsets me. Has anyone been on this along with the hormone blockers? Thank you

Have they said which CDK drug they are thinking of? I’m on Abemaciclib for 2 years (began it in September 2024) and I haven’t lost any hair though as I’m getting older (80) my hair is thinning a little anyway. The worst s/e is the one they prescribe Imodium for (yup!) but I also have ridged and flaky finger nails which does annoy me at times.

Thank you for your reply. I'm not too sure which one yet, just worried as my hair finally coming through lovely after chemo.
