I had breast cancer and I am now on hormone treatment, I am really struggling to cope day to day. I feel worn out with fatigue and like I’m in a constant daze. I need to think about going back to work next year after a year off. I don’t feel anywhere near ready. All my oncologist says is go for walks. I really need advice there must be something more we can take to combat such fatigue that makes life truly debilitating. I would really appreciate any advice. I’m also on abemaciclib, but on a break from that at the moment.
Hi Evonne, I am taking Letrozole and have no energy at all, like you I seem to wander about in a daze. I’m also getting brain fog and am panicking in case it isn’t the Letrozole that’s causing it, I wonder if it’s the onset of dementia. I have conversations with people and half way through I completely forget the words I’m looking for. I wasn’t warned about the possible side effects of Letrozole when it was prescribed. I’m sorry that I don’t have advice for you but wanted to let you know that you’re not alone.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
