  1. I’ve kind of “forgotten” about my BC battle! (I’ll never forget it, not really), but it’s not my main focus anymore! Because I’m fine now! As my profile says, I’ve had my moments but I have come out the other side! I’m only saying this because this was the kind of post I wanted to see four years ago when I was paralysed with fear! If anything, my battle made me more grateful and changed my attitude and perspective on life! I’m now 65 with one boob! But I’m so grateful that I had a mastectomy; it was a massive deal at the time! But I didn’t lose my hand, arm, leg or eye! I can still function perfectly normally and feel confident that I’m healthy! I’m taking Anastrazole daily without any side effects! In short, life is good. I appreciate every day, because at one stage I wasn’t sure I’d have an “every day” the point I’m trying to make is; not every diagnosis is what you fear most. Many of us come out of this battle better people! Try not to be too scared…. as difficult it is, I just want to spread a bit of hope; I remember just wanting someone to tell me “you’re gonna be fine” and I am! None of us are getting out of this life alive, so let’s just try and stay poMuscletive and enjoy our good days until then!!! We’re all going to shuffle off one day, but not today…. Stay strong! xx Please feel free to ask me anything xxxx
  • Hi Mazz, what a lovely post. Thank you. Ive not logged in to the forums for months. I needed a break after treatment for bilateral bc.

Good to hear that you're doing well
