Adcal dose

Hi. 

I was on letrozole but didn't cope well with the side effects. Now on Exemestane but still on the same dose of Ad-cal D3 tablets 

750mg/200 units is on the pack, 2 tablets twice a day. 

I also have Zometa / Zolendronic acid infusions every 6 months for 3 years.

Hello, I’m on Zometa infusions every 6 months and take 2 x calcichew d3 500mg a day for a month afterwards. I also normally take a multi vitamin mineral supplement with it as I understand you need Vitamin k and magnesium to help get the calcium into the bones rather than gum up anywhere else. 

I’m on Abemaciclib (now into my second year) so have regular blood tests and they’ve always been good. When I’m not on the adcal I take d3 (checked the levels with GP as I too had very low levels when initially diagnosed with osteopenia a few years before my cancer) and still the multi-vitamin mineral supplement, and have a good and varied diet.

Gp confirmed dose of 800 per day hopefully this will make a difference to prevent further bone loss.
