  • Hi thank you for replying. I have had 24 phesgo and Denosumab  every three weeks and my consultant says I have to stay on them for life . Just a few side effects such as watery eyes, running nose, my nails don't grow and now i have the skin problem . But these are small problems compared to some people .

So have you finished your treatment. x

  • Hi, yes I had my 4 year check up in July, now just on letrozole and coming to the last of my 6 monthly zoledronic acid treatments which were for 5 years. Best wishes

  • Hi Shirley, I had 18 phesgo injections, which finished in May. The only side effects that I had was the runny nose and really itchy arms. I was given antihistamine tablets, which helped with the itching. These side effects have only just started to ease up now.

  • Hi Daisy24. Have you had an operation. My consultant said I will be on Phesgo for life with no operation , just wandered if any one was the same as me . x

  • Hi, I'm on cycle 12 of 18. Immediate side effect was a painful acne on my scalp by 6th cycle it was on my chest. I am given antibiotics with every round now, it reduces the flare up but still get the acne. Have had runny nose throughout, peripheral neuropathy and muscle aches. Also some diarrhoea but overall far less debilitating than chemo See no evil

  • Hi - that sounds very familiar. I’ve just completed cycle 15. I have peripheral neuropathy, very itchy skin for which I take antibiotics, insomnia , muscle and joint aches although this might be due to the Letrozole.

  • How many cycles are you having in total? Hopefully not much left. I have been asked to start Tamoxifen now so I wonder what side effects that will bring on.

  • Hi -  I'm supposed to have 18 cycles, so due to finish mid July.  How about you? I  have developed breathlessness this cycle and am being seen tomorrow at the hospital to get it checked out before I have another dose. I have found it hard to determine what treatment is causing what side effects as I started the Phesgo and Letrozole at the same time.

  • I finish in September. Are you having regular echocardiograms? I hope all goes well for your appointment tomorrow Heart
