I have had breast cancer in my right breast two years ago and had a mastectomy. On my second year mammogram a new lump in my left breast detected and now awaiting a core biopsy.Has anyone else had this happen. I had my core biopsy and it has turned out to be a benign breast cyst.Im so relieved
I’m so glad you got a benign result, it must have been such an anxious wait!
Ive had two mammograms since diagnosis in March 2023, and am still receiving treatment - abemaciclib and letrozole so I’d be really horrified to find a lump. I know that as the years go on I’ll find it difficult to wait for the mammogram results, never mind results from something that’s needed a biopsy!
All the very best..xx
