Hi
I have just been diagnosed with a new primary breast cancer in my other breast. I was diagnosed with ER+ and HER2+ breast cancer in Sept 2023, with 2 lymph nodes involved, tumour size 8mm. Had lumpectomy, axillary clearance, chemo, radio, phesgo and letrozole. This week diagnosed with 1.5cm tumour other breast which is ER- this time and still waiting on HER2 result. Is there anyone on here who is in or has been in a similar situation? Any advice much appreciated xx
Hello MissL
It's 2.00 and I've just got up for the loo. I need to go back to sleep. Check out my profile. I'm in chemo tomorrow so I'll properly reply then.
Hugs. But you've done it once.
Three times! What did I do?
Morning chemo short staffed so running late by 90 minutes.
if you’ve read profile you will know I’m on my third lot of BC. 17 years then 7 years. I’ve actually got two different types but opinion is the oestrogen positive one in my lymph is left over from last time.
it is a shock , and yours has come Back quickly. However I think that’s the nature of the beast. Nobody can predict with 100% accuracy.
this time my treatment is totally different. I was so convinced it would be the same I got my hair cut so it would be easier to manage. Even packed my hospital bag. Which I’ve since unpacked and packed again.
This time I still don’t have secondaries but I do have some nodules on my lungs which
are Luke warm!! Whatever that means.
I’m wanting a double mastectomy this time. I am not telling my mum for a forth time I’ve got Bc.
so there are people out there being greedy like you but I haven’t yet encountered anyone whose on their 3 rd time with a different type in each breast. Still as the saying goes. Nowt so queer as folk.
Now yet another trip to the loo required. I really should Strava treatment I don’t count steps. Please feel free to get in touch on private message for more info.
You can do this. You’ve done it before.

Thank you Silverberg, it's encouraging to hear your story This one is a different type of cancer and in a different breast, they tell me my lymph nodes look clear but I keep getting pain in my armpit so I don't think they're right, I also had an ultrasound 3 months ago and there was nothing there then so this 1.5cm tumour has appeared in such a short time, that I fear it's highly aggressive and I just want it taking out but got another 3 weeks yet, can't beleive im going through it again. Good to hear you're coping well with your treatment this time
️ xx
