Hi every body.
I just wondered if anyone knows whether or not those people taking aromatose inhibitors will be called for a winter Covid vaccination this year ( in Scotland)
I have looked at the web site but it isn't terribly clear with regard to particular drugs.
Thank you and all the best with everyone's treatments. Thinking about you all and wishing you well.
Please please don’t worry. This is exactly the right place for you to come and you need this space, to explore your feelings, to explore what you’re reading online. If I’ve made you feel in anyway awkward then the fault lies entirely with me not you. I’m a few years down the line now, but this forum was my lifeline and you definitely should be here. We all encounter information that is misleading or false and that’s why we are here for each other, to help explore these things. I’m so sorry if I was blunt and have made you feel bad, it honestly wasn’t my intention, I was just trying to say please be careful what sources you use. I’m very sorry to have worried you at this sensitive time, please don’t withdraw xxx
I got an invite for a covid jab, saying that I am vulnerable, and so entitled to it. I am booked in for my flu jab, but have decided against the covid one this time, as I feel that my body has been through enough this year after lumpectomy, re excision, radiotherapy and Letrazole.
Hi Eljat
Thank you for bringing the Korean Study up, it is obviously something that has caused you great concern. I hope Anna and others replies may have put your mind at rest that the research was found to be inconclusive. I think when facing a cancer diagnosis we want to know why it has happened and also blame something, which we are mostly unable to do. I was terrible for googling early on in my diagnosis and treatment and caused myself a lot of anxiety, so please, if you do find articles that upset you, speak here or with your breast care team.
I hope you will continue to chat on the forum as I know I found it very helpful to be able to express my self in a safe environment, with people who had gone through similar treatments as me. It is while your resilience and emotions are low that you will benefit most from being here.
Take care and I hope your treatments go smoothly
love and hugs
