I am due to have a delayed Diep flap reconstruction in two weeks' time, a year after a single mastectomy and temporary silicon implant. I shall be delighted to get rid of the silicon implant, as it is very uncomfortable, and overall am looking forward to the op, even though I'm scared too. The hospital has sent me details of compression wear for after the op - I'm fine with the bras, but the compression shorts look awful as they go from above the knee to below the boobs. Can anyone recommend the most comfortable compression garments to protect my tummy after the op please?
I’d my op 4 weeks ago and these are the ones I have found most comfortable. https://amzn.eu/d/4GnzUyv
I also bought some from M&S but found these ones sit higher which the nurses preferred post-op.
