Hello my name is Sarah and I’ve just been diagnosed 8 days ago with tubular breast cancer stage one grade 2 and I’ve just had surgery last night , The plan is to start radiotherapy and because mine is ER plus receptor positive to start me on medication for 10 years to stop all my oestrogen and periods which I’m obviously worried about I’m 44 years old with four children the youngest eight, I’ve got to wait for the nodes results still to see if it’s spread yet. so dealing with this medication to stop hormones im worried about mental health with that alone what it is going to do to me on top of the cancer diagnosis is worrying I have no family my little sister died last year who is 29. My mum and dad both died two years ago and my auntie, who was like a mum to me has died, I also have stage four endometriosis which I am waiting on MRI results as it’s now fused my blood out bowels to my ovaries but now I’m worrying could that be something else or not? As my endo specialist looked at the scan results from last year and said he can’t say for sure now if it’s Endo which would be absolutely devastating as they have know for a year about this results on a previous MRI scan just took a year to see a endo specialist as it’s nhs so just coming here to talk to anyone who may be going through same thing
