Hi Anneannie, I would definitely like to know if there is any answer to this. I am feeling so depressed about my thinning hair and just dont know what to do. I take collagen, only wash my hair once a week. Never put heat on it, ie hairdryer. It looks horrible. The hairdresser suggested hair extension but I think my hair is fragile enough without the added weight of hair extension.

Hi, I don’t know how well this stops effects from oestrogen blockers but when I had hair loss a few years ago a dermatologist recommended viviscal. I still take these (just 3 times a week now although initially everyday). I checked with the oncologist if they were ok but you may want to check with yours. B12 and vitamin D can also impact hair so you could ask your gp to check these.
Some shampoos can also help with appearance - the purple oxy one with biotin and collagen (I forget the actual name) and I am currently trying out the seaweed company shampoo and conditioner as their packaging is more environmentally friendly (although it is v expensive!). xx
