Hi
After 8 months of losing my hair through chemo, I'm finally on the right track to having the hair I once lost, albeit greyer. I have 2 wigs that I no longer have use for. Just wondering what people have done with their wigs or know of anywhere I can donate to people just starting this journey.
Google doesn't give much information on wig banks where I live. Only companies that will take them and sell them on as fashion accessories which I would prefer they go to anyone that lost their hair through this horrible time.
Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated
Hi, my oncology hospital has a Macmillan shop near the entrance, and they sell donated wigs for £5. I bought one and trimmed it as it was too long for me, and it gave me the confidence to wear it all the time and go outside. It looks very natural and I’m grateful to whoever donated it!
