Donating wigs

I am in a similar situation.  I had thought about taking mine to the local Cancer Research shop.

Hi, my oncology hospital has a Macmillan shop near the entrance, and they sell donated wigs for £5. I bought one and trimmed it as it was too long for me, and it gave me the confidence to wear it all the time and go outside.  It looks very natural and I’m grateful to whoever donated it!

Thankyou so much for your reply. That's great information. I'm at the hospital tomorrow for my year later scans. I'll pop in and hopefully they'll take them.

I did put them on Facebook Market place but no interest sadly

I have one to donate also, a brand new human hair one that was too big for me (it was a back up one). I offered it to someone on the under 50’s group here as they were raising money for one but they never came back to me. 

I was thinking of taking it to my cancer hospital or the chemo unit and asking them if I could donate it.

This is great information. I'm going to try the Macmillan store tomorrow which is inside the hospital I'm going to tomorrow as I'm in West Yorkshire (even though Rotherham isn't too far tbf)

I put a post on Nextdoor and a lady replied straight away who was just about to start treatment so I gave it and the care kit etc to her x
