Hello I’m on the 2 week referral (referred Thursday so waiting on appointment) and in my early 30s but wondered if people have had similar symptoms and what it ended up being for them?
I was itching my boob so thought i would just check and noticed a raisin kind of lump left to my nipple which doctor has confirmed (it is mobile) she also wants my other one checked as she mentioned it seemed very dense- with the one that has a lump I’ve also noticed since my nipple is swollen kind of like what it’s like when you are pregnant? Slightly purple and very veiny- blue veins (almost making it look bruised) it feels very tender (again very similar to when you’re pregnant) but not tender where the lump is more in general. Did anybody have similar symptoms and if so what did it turn out to be? Obviously petrified it could be cancer but also reading the stats holding on to the fact it could very likely be something else.
Thank you
Thanks
Hi Loco1
Welcome to the Breast Cancer group.
My own cancer was endometrial so I hope you do not mind me responding as by doing so it will hopefully bump your post. Hopefully it will then bring it to the attention of someone who has experienced similar symptoms.
Whilst it is scary to be put on a 2ww, you have done the right thing in getting this checked out. I hope that your appointment comes through quickly and provides some reassurance.
In the meantime please do give the Support Line a call if talking things through would help. They are there from 8am-8pm daily.

Hi Loco1
Welcome to the forum, I'm Daisy53 one of the Community Champions on this forum. While I don't have tghe experience you are looking for I noticed that you haven't had any replies so I thought I'd reply to you to move you to the top of the discussion. Hopefully someone will be along shortly with the relevant experience.
Most lumps turn out to be benign but if it is cancer it will be more than likely treatable. I'v had breast cancer twice and both times it was treated successfully and I am still cancer free two years later.
Wishing you the best of luck with your appointment and hopefully it will turn out to be nothing serious.
Best wishes
Daisy53
