Hi all, on Monday I am going in for a sentinel lymph removal and a lumpsectomy. I know everyone is different but I'm interested to know if anyone who has had the same, how long it took them to get back to driving.
I waited about 4 weeks, as the seat belt went right across my boob that had the surgery, and I was worried about any damages if say I had to brake suddenly or swerve. I used my little heart shaped cushion when I was first driving, for a bit of reassurance ( altho it kept slipping out lol)
I'm 4 1/2 weeks after surgery and it still uncomfortable going over speed bumps, so If I was driving I wouldn't be able to hold my boob as we go over the bumps. That's the only thing that's stopping me at the moment. But it has been nice to be driven about for once some one else is the family taxi .
