Im lactose intolerant and dreading taking my letrazole  tablets.
I’ve ordered a couple of tubs of Milkaid lactase enzyme tablets and hope these prevent the endless vomiting and severe pain that I’ve experienced previously with cow’s dairy.  Has any one else tried this and was it effective?
many thanks

  • Hi Cest Moi

I became lactose intolerant after my cancer treatment. I take Milkaid tablets and have found them helpful. I try to have lactose free dairy but where I can not avoid it or am unsure of the amounts I would take a tablet around 30 mins before it. I still sometimes have some nausea but do not get the pain and cramps/diarrhoea.

I don't however know how they would work with letrazole and whether there is any possibility of any interaction so best to check with your CNS.

  • Hi, I'm lactose intolerant and on letrozole. I have to say apart from joint pain I haven't had any other symptoms from taking Letrozole. I do have enzyme tablets which I take if I fancy an ice creamSlight smiler pudding etc but I haven't taken them with Letrozole and fingers crossed been ok on them. Might be worth just trying them unless you have a severe allergy to lactose? Slight smile
