I know this is really silly as I have a lot.worse to come....but I have just been asked to go to the hospital for a magseed injection this PM and I'm scared.
My operation is on Thursday.
Is it just like the injection you have for the biopsy? I am just looking for comfort that it doesn't hurt.
Andrea
I wasn't told what it was about when I went for mine, just thought I was having a normal appointment - so at least I didn't have time to think about it.
I seem to recall it was a bit of a sting, but other than that, I don't recall it being too much - it was about 8 years ago now, but it certainly hasn't stuck in my mind - except for the fact that I hadn't been expecting anything, so it can't have been that bad
Hope this helps and good luck for Thursday.
Kindest wishes, Lesley
Yes just like that, I felt nothing, had to have a biopsy at the same time so uncomfortable but not bad. I watched it all on the ultrasound screen
I have just had it done. It actually really hurt but don't want to alarm anyone else cos it might just be me..
I am still very bruised from my biopsy 3 weeks ago where they hit a blood vessel and then had to put pressure on it for 10 mins to stop the bleeding.
Anyway all done now and ready for the operation on Thursday.
Hi
guys had mine in March a week prior to my operation , it was really no different to the biopsy , which didn’t hurt , it’s just the sharp scratch of the anesthetic that you feel and that wasn’t that bad.
unfortunately for me the mag seed didn’t work and they couldn’t hear it, so I had to go back the day before the operation for a wire to be inserted. But hey! The seed started singing like a canary so didn’t have to have the wire, I wasn’t looking forward to that tbh.
