Omg guys, I have just been to have my dressing removed, two weeks after surgery, I didn't realize how scared I was until I was sat there naked and the consultant was pulling at the dressing. Ever thing went so fast I've spent the last hour crying and in shock. Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining about the consultant she is amazing. Just wow I just don't know how you can prepare yourself for things like this. So now I'm just sat trying to process what's just happened. My consultant said it will take a couple of hours to sink on so this must be a normal reaction. But on the plus side my nipple is still attached, the skin graft worked. I have to have this dressing change next week I hope it's not as bad.
