Hello, This is a very weird question! I was just wondering if chemo patients can have pizza? I am thinking of Sainsbury’s Pizza Express Margarita in particular. Does anyone know if the cheese is pasturised? Also what about Sainsbury’s Italian ready meals - does anyone know if they are safe to eat? Apologies re very bizarre question…..
I’ve been eating the exact the same as before.
Everyone I have spoken to on the chemo ward (breast and not breast) has said the same so I’m sure you will be ok.
Eat it surelyI ate what I wanted throughout treatments.do be careful to make sure food is cooked properly as you would normally to avoid getting food poisoning .Also avoid anything with grapefruit as it can interact with treatment usually no grapefruit is noted for most medicines.
