Anastrozole knee pain

Hi, I take letrozole and suffer from joint pain but my oncologist is not concerned. I always think it’s good to get things checked out if you’re worried.best wishes 

Hello, i have been on Anastrozole for 2.5 years.  My knee joints and fingers are particularly painful.  Have mentioned it to my oncologist and her response is always, 'I'm afraid that is a side effect'! 

Hi Whisper, I am the same. The knee pain is constant. I have read that Claritin might help. I have an oncology appointment in July and will discuss this with my Oncologist. 

Thank you I will try Caritin I have put a knee support on and this does help a little.

Oh wow, that's explains why I've got painful knees and fingers. I never realised medication could be the cause.

Hi, I was on this drug for seven years and I noticed a big difference in side efects between different manufacturers of the drug. I had crippling knee pain when using the generic drugs. I finally started paying for the branded drug and my side effects improved a lot! I mentioned it to my oncologist and she said she had heard this from other patients also. Not sure if this helps…
