WHEN do the eyelashes and eyebrows start to grow back? I’m 4 weeks clear of chemotherapy and have lost both! Hair on head growing back very slowly and thinly but just want my face hair back!
I had 12 weeks of PC and lost all my hair around the 3 week mark.
i have now changed to EC and had 2 sessions and my eyebrows and eyelashes seem to be growing back. I have 2 left and I am actually worried the chemo isn’t working as feel my hair should be falling out/not growing!
i finished chemo in December last year. My eyelashes started to grow back about 6 weeks later. Very small but there. They have continued to grow and are a reasonable length now. My eyebrows are a different matter. The hair is very fine and sparse and I am still using an eyebrow brush.
I’m sorry, I can’t answer but I wanted to let you know I’m in a similar position so understand your need for them to regrow. I finished chemo 4 weeks ago now and whilst my lashes didn’t complete shed during treatment, they’re now disappearing completely! I’m gutted as really had hoped they would be starting to regrow at this point.
