Hi
Recently my sister and a close friend both toldme they've felt something in the breast area so got checked and although different results both not cancer they didn't want to hide it from me but didn't know how to tell me as I wasn't so lucky. I'm obviously happy for them as nobody wants to be in this situation but at the same time struggling more with the 'why me?' Situation
There's nothing wrong with the way you're feeling, we'd probably all feel the same if we admit to ourselves or not. Never mind admit to others. Yor feelings are YOUR feelings.
I'm just starting on this journey of breast cancer but it's my 2nd time round, previous was SCC on my tongue. This time round? Grade 3 stage 2. Lymph nodes positive. Skin involved. Looking at chemo then surgery - right mastectomy & lymph nodes. then more chemo and/or radiotherapy.
What's your story?
