Hi I've put on loads of weight because of cancer treatment and chemical menopause.
My diet is really good and I do yoga at the gym but still my weight continues to rise.Really unhappy about my shape now.
I was a size 10 pre treatment and after three years I'm a size 16/18 now.
Talking to my oncologist tomorrow and Doctors about if I qualify for the weight loss injections available now.
Is any else having these problems or on the injections?
AJ
Hi, I'm also frustrated with putting on weight, which seems to go on in days and take months to lose. My GP did offer to see the nutritionist for support though I have not done that yet. I don't think I'd be happy to consider injections personally, but feeling good about yourself is so very important so I hope you get the support you need from your GP. Best wishes
Hi AJM I am frustrated about my weight as well. Had cancer 12 years ago and went up to size 18. Joined weight watchers and lost some of it. Went down to about a 14. Now cancer has come back and weight is creeping up again with treatment. I dont think I would consider the injections because of more chemicals to the body. I think your oncologist would know if it was safe or not. Good luck.
