Hi all

my daughter is just recovering from triple neg breast cancer after a year of chemo radiotherapy immune therapy and surgary she is doing well

she is doing well can anyone recommend any creams face cream sun cream without any toxins and also her bones really ache due to all treatment anyone been given any specific exercises to do she has low energy levels at the moment.   Thanks.

  • The Alba Botanica sun creams are recommended, I've bought some for my daughter who has recently finished treatment. Holland and Barrett stock them. Haven't had much chance to use it yet but goes on well.

Very best wishes to you and your daughter.

  • I had exercises from my oncology physio.3 years on I still do them.  I also realised that a walk everyday is really helpful. During and after treatment I asked if any of my friends would become chemo walkers.  It really helped to have someone knock at my door and talk and natter as we went.  It doesn't have to be far.

It isn't easy and it does get better.

    All the best

  • Thank you so much.

  • There is a great app called YUKA - they are independent, based in France and rate all of these products / list toxins etc.

Green People have some scent free very good moisturisers and sunscreens as do Caudalie (available from Boots) and Aveeno skin relief oil is also very good.

  • Hi  , I use Green People (mentioned above) suncream and Sukin moisturiser, I get whatever ones my local health food shop have at any given time (some are day or night creams but I don’t find much difference so I just go for the cheapest if there’s more than one!). Love and hugs to you and your daughter. HFxx

PS if either of you are anywhere near London, I would strongly recommend visiting Future Dreams House in Kings Cross. It’s a charity for anyone affected by breast cancer so includes family and friends. Such a welcoming place and lots of great workshops/ sessions. In house and also online.
