So I’m awake at stupid o’clock yet again and this time it’s because today is my first chemo bricking it
Hi Csf, just want to wish you well. Chemo is tough but doable and you will get through it. Lots of support on here, so do come back. Also keep talking to the specialist nurses, they have so much experience. Very best wishes for successful treatment, sending strength and a hug. x
Hi cherry2 Thanks for reaching out to me. Had chemo Wednesday and okay up to Friday and then hit me. Headaches bordering on migraine feeling like I’ve got flu/covid weakness. It’s now Saturday and I’m determined to go to the theatre tonight, it’s been booked for a year and I’m not going to miss it. Still got appetite and drinking plenty fluids, got taxi booked for getting home afterwards. I can do this!
Hi, hope you're feeling a bit better now. I found that the 4th and 5th days after chemo were the hardest and it does tend to run in a pattern so at least it helps planning for next time. Hope you made it to the theatre and enjoyed it. Best wishes
