ribociclib as an adjuvant

I am in my late 60's and had stage 3 breast cancer with no spread to lymph nodes etc and had a mastectomy. I am taking anastrazole and on Zolandronic acid infusions with very minimal side effects. Athough I am  a little concerned about long term side effects of both. I did not have chemotherapy as my oncologist felt it was not the best way to go, as I have another medical condition which affects my immune system, although with medication I cope very well. I have now been offered (as a private patient) ribociclib as an adjuvant which I will have to take for 3 years. I am concerned that I will have to stop taking the medication for my immune condition as it cannot be taken with ribociclb and about the side effects of ribociclib itself, also concerned about having to be more careful with social contact (which I have to limit a little anyway) and coping with day to day life, I live alone and need to be well enough to do most things for myself including driving and walking as part of a walking group (social contact) . Are there any complimentary things e.g. vitamins etc which might help with fatigue and other side effects?

Would be grateful to hear of experiences with ribociclib

  • Hi  I'm one of the champions here in this group and I noticed your post hasn't had any replies yet. As the site is quite busy it's slipped down the pages so my response will bump you back to the top of the posts and I hope one of the lovely folks here with the right experience will be along soon. Best wishes
